Dr. Ward is married and the father of five children; four have graduated from college. He and his family enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and kayaking. Dr. Ward also enjoys reading historical biographies.

Dr. Ward's years of practice combine to provide him the insightful experience necessary to recognize the lifestyle as well as the physical conditions affecting his patients' hearts. This combination of medical knowledge, the latest cardiac treatment technology, surgical techniques, and understanding of the people of our community ensures that Dr. Ward's patients receive the multi-dimensional care approach most appropriate for each unique individual. Dr. Ward served as Medical Director for Cardiac Study Center's physicians and staff from 1996 through the end of 2004.

   
 
COMMUNITY OUTREACH :
Dr. Ward and his wife, Diane, are always Involved in Cardiac Study Center's Community Outreach programs. These programs include The American Heart Association, The American Cancer Society, and McKinley Elementary School on the eastside of Tacoma.
